We are based in subtropical Australia, close to the nation’s most easterly point at Byron Bay.
If you are visiting this beautiful area, why not pay us a visit?

We have a fascinating talk and afternoon tea every Tuesday (apart from school holidays) downstairs at the Workers Sports Club, Goonellabah, starting at 2.00pm. Come along and say hello.

The Computer Users Group will be starting up again for the 3rd term. They will meet every Monday 10am to 12 noon, starting on the fourth Monday of July.

Friday Forum is another activity where visitors are welcome. Every Friday in term-time from 10am to 12 noon at the Workers Sports Club, Goonellabah.

Northern Rivers U3A began at a public meeting in Lismore in 1994. Today we have more than 600 members enjoying an average of 35 classes, discussion groups and activities each term.

U3A Northern Rivers reciprocal arrangement with U3A Ballina/Byron

U3A NR has a reciprocal arrangement with U3A Ballina/Byron, whereby members of either U3A may attend classes or events held by the other without paying an additional membership fee.

Where places in a particular class are limited, preference is given to members of the U3A offering the class.

Reciprocal rights do not extend to voting rights at the respective reciprocal U3A's AGM.
